How to create cool sh*t.

You were built to create cool shit.

This has been my top ideal for the last many years, even when I didn’t scream it from the rooftops.

Nowadays, I just finished my book titled precisely this: “You were built to create cool sh*t”… and I have something special for anyone who finds themselves reading this.

A short and sweet guide into how I’m creating my own cool sh*t so you can use it for your own frame of reference when you go and inevitably create the stuff you were built to create.

Enough jibber jabber, lets get at ‘er.

Creating something, anything really

First off, if you really want to create some top level cool shit you will need to create a lot of less than cool things too. You can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs. So you want to break some eggs in many cases., they are the sign you’re going somewhere worth while.

Take this frame with you: Struggle = Growth = Progress. If you feel like life is hard and you look at this way, it becomes much more fun. Not always, but a lot of the time… isn’t that still a worthwhile scope to view your current dread through?

In order to create cool sh*t there is no secret formula, the only formula is for you to follow what comes curious to you and get lost, dive deep into however much you desire to learn and keep learning, keep creating for as long as you can. Your first 10 endeavors may yield no direct diamonds in the rough, but each added experience, each added skill, all of these are pieces to your overarching “cool shit” puzzle.

How’s that quote go?

Just go create something, any thing really. Develop faith that the dots will connect looking backwards, so you can focus on the meaningful task at hand.

My master plan for reference

As it is my belief that we are built to create cool sh*t I have been on my own creation adventure for the last many years and it all led to where I am today, which to me is the making of an ecosystem, my own universe of creation and curiosity, and it goes as follows.

First off, this is going to sound self promoting, but I genuinely am just really excited to share this spider web of creations I have found myself the creator of.

First off, In the last 3 years I’ve made well over 1000 youtube videos, in light of this I have recently started creating daily updates on my new youtube channel using these creation skills to talk about all the things I am creating and doing.

What am I creating? My own movement. A movement to make people create some of their own cool sh*t.

How am I creating this?
I’m creating this ecosystem by trying my very best to be an example of what is looks like, by creating all sorts of things in line with my curiosity and showing people they too can create things. Right now I’m making an application called curiosity quench to start, this pairs really well with my book “you were built to create” and this newsletter you’re reading now all about curiosity and creation. On too of this I’m creating a digital home for all of these things to be housed @ frikit.net , this is essentially the hub of all my creations. This website is an ever work in progress as I build it up to be a more useful resource for creation and curiosity seekers. On frikit.net you can see the rest of my creation web too, as I’m often adding to it.

The mission of each of these things I have and am creating is the same, to get more people to create cool shit and explore their curiosities.

To get people to see how they can do more than mindlessly scroll on tiktok. (curiosity quench is aimed to be a tiktok mind destroyer app)

Create your own movement, or create anything

The “how to create cool sh*t” answer is really just to create anything at all and do it soon because the more eggs you break the more omelets you’ll make.

I wish I had a more prescriptible answer for you, but the truth is, such answers do more harm than good.

The world needs your creations, using your absolutely unique spirit and soul and by following your genuine curiosities: you can create cool sh*t.

Now get going and get lost, go create some shit.
